Ethos String Orchestra

The Ethos String Orchestra (ESO), formerly known as the AMUSE String Chamber Orchestra (ASCO), is celebrating its 10th season! Founded by director Bianca Lara in 2016, ESO is an active performance ensemble for intermediate to early advanced string students in the South Bay. ESO has been invited to perform with Redondo Union High School’s music department, music festivals held by MTAC, choirs, and preschools. 

Classical, jazz, and pop repertoire is arranged by the director to both challenge and complement the group's level. Students will focus on chamber and performance techniques, in addition to learning rudimentary music theory and history. 

ESO averages between 3 to 5 performances a year. Students must have a minimum of two years of experience on their instrument.
